The influence of economic development, average schooling years, urbanization, archives open to public and implementation of Regulations of the government of the People's Republic of China on Infor- mation Disclosure on utilized archives in national comprehensive archives are researched from the macro perspective by applying econometric method and using the statistical data in the period of 1991-2015.The results show that:(1) there is long - term equilibrium relationship between utilized archives and economic development, average schooling years, urbanization and archives open to public, but economic development, average schooling years and urbanization have been in a state of serious malfunction of promoting the uti- lization of open archives; (2) average schooling years is the case of the Granger cause of utilization of archives which have been open to public.
