Abstract: 该文的研究目的在于探讨中国发达城市初中生人格心理发展状况、阅读态度和行为的总体状况,及其所受到人口学和社会经济因素的影响,特别地挖掘出随阅读态度和行为的变动,初中生人格维度的变动状况,表现出阅读投入相关变量对个体发展的重大意义,启迪人们开展更为深入的研究探讨。该研究采用问卷调查方法、素质测评方法与统计技术,利用心理学的未成年人五因素人格量表和自拟题项对天津、大连、杭州、广州和武汉五个经济发展水平进入发达地区标准的都市中,1350位中学生开展了社会问卷调研,调查地点分布在初中学校班级和城市少年儿童图书馆(包括公共图书馆内少儿服务部门)两类场所。在分析初中生人口学、社会经济状况和人格五维度,以及他们阅读态度和行为数据的基础上,该研究发现初中生人格五维度特质存在性别和家庭出身间发展不均衡的现象,开放性和宜人性水平总体较低而且情绪稳定度非常不够,基础教育求学生涯还使其开放性和宜人性指标水平有进一步的衰减。在阅读领域发现大多数初中生参与者传统阅读状况和习惯(特别是图书馆阅读)不佳,尚处于完全未开发或萌芽发展阶段,这种现况与教育体制、课程与升学压力、初中生及其家长的阅读认知和阅读投入水平,以及图书馆等文化事业的发展有着直接且紧密的联系。当前都市初中生的阅读动机以个人兴趣和获取信息知识为主,学习和升学等功利目的退居其次。最终,经研讨和比较发现:人格五维度与所有主体的阅读态度和行为变量都存在显著性的关联关系,但这种亦步亦趋型关联自身的维度和强度又是灵活多样的,这可能与态度和行为变量的侧重点,以及阅读活动的专指性和学科规定性有关。在人格五因素理论和新兴成年理论交互影响的研究视阈中,从阅读角度探讨人格特质影响因素的这一研究主题仍有较大发展潜力和前景。图2幅,表60个,参考文献556篇。This paper aims to explore the development of personality psychology, reading attitude and behavior of junior high school students in developed cities in China, and the deviations which their demographic and socioeconomic factors could bring.The last vital object is to explore whether the students' personality dimensionsappear significant differences along with different reading attitudes and behaviors. The results will show us the great significance of the variables related to reading engagement to the individual development and enlightens people to carry out more in-depth research.This research study adopted the questionnaire survey method, the quality evaluation method and the statistical technique, and used the five-factor personality scale of psychology and self-study items, carried out a social questionnaire survey to 1350 secondary school students in comparatively developed area (according to OECD’s standards) in China, they were Tianjin, Dalian, Hangzhou, Guangzhou and Wuhan, the survey sites located in the junior high school classes and urban children's library (including the public library children's services sector). When analysed the valid data from above questionnaire surveys, the author took use of various statistical techniques, including descriptive statistics, analysis of variances, multiple Logistic regression analysis, cluster analysis, main factor analysis, correlation analysis, Independent sample non- parametric test, chi-square test and etc. On the basis of analyzing the data of demography, social economy and personality of junior high school students, and their reading attitudes and behavioral data, the author found that the five dimensions of personality of junior high school students had unbalanced development between sex and family background, the overall level of Openness and Agreeablenessdimensions were both low and Emotional stability is not enough. Moreover, along with the study courses at middle school, the Openness and Agreeableness indicators of the students had further attenuation. In the field of reading, it was found that the majority of junior middle school students participants' reading habits and conditions (especially reading in the library) were poor, and they were still at the stage of undeveloped or budding development. This situation is closely and directly related to the education system, curriculum and enrollment pressure, their parents' reading comprehension and reading engagement, as well as the library and other cultural undertakings. The current reading motivation of urban junior high school students was mainly based on the personal interest and the motivation of information acquisition, and the Utilitarian purpose of improving performance and acoustics was followed. In the end, it is found that the five dimensions of personality have significant correlation with all the subjects' reading attitudes and behavioral variables, but the dimension and intensity of this step-by-step association were flexible and diverse, which may be related to attitude and behavioral variables focus, as well as the specificity of reading activities and disciplines related to. This research study have shed more light on the sphere of the effectiveness of traditional reading (especially library reading), also, it also has some shortcomings. In the visual and theoretical field of interaction between personality five factors theory and emerging adult theory, this topic of influencing factors of personality traits from the perspective of reading still has great potential and research value.
